Cornucopia Lodge

Cornucopia Lodge

Located 12 miles outside of Halfway, Oregon, in the mining ghost town of Cornucopia, Cornucopia Lodge is the gateway to the Eagle Caps and Wallowa Mountains.

In winter guests can enjoy activities including snowmobiling, snowshoeing and skiing. In fact, the lodge is accessible only by snowmobile - or pre-arranged pick up - during the winter months. When you're not out adventuring, stay cozy in the lodge or quiet cabins. Upscale family-style dinners are served daily in the dining room, and breakfast is included with every stay.

Summer brings opportunities for horse and backpacking activities. Guests can explore the many miles of trails around the lodge - or step back in time with a visit to the old mining town of Cornucopia - it's only 12 miles west of Halfway in the Wallowa-Whitman National Forest.
