My family and I have a Bike Inn available for cyclists by donation Mother’s Day-October 15. I started the Bike Inn, next to my country home, the summer of 2009 and it has been an oasis for cyclist ever since. The Bike Inn has a shower, towels, kitchen with pots & pans, queen bed, futon that makes into a double bed, pillows, VHS movies, Wi-Fi, a rooster to wake you, farm fresh eggs for your breakfast, and a patio with picnic table for socializing with myself and/or cyclists on the Trans Am route or Oregon Scenic Bikeway Route. Your donation helps keep the place clean, stocked, and open.
There are dozens of campgrounds nestled among Oregon’s most stunning scenery, from high-desert areas spotted with alpine lakes to coastal sand dunes peering over the Pacific Ocean. This spring and summer, we hope you get out to explore at least one. Here are a few ideas to help you start planning.
